Time & Location

30 Oct 2024, 12:00 – 13:00

Asda Community Room, Asda, Odhams Industrial Estate, St Albans Rd, Watford WD24 7RT, UK

About the event

1 in 3 people born today will develop dementia during their lifetime and 1 in 3 people with the condition today are living without a diagnosis.

By 2030, it’s predicted that 22,000 people will be living with the condition in Hertfordshire.

Join Louise Bates from Alzheimer’s Society, as she visits our WACA 50+ Activity Group to explore what dementia is, how to recognise it and what we can do to reduce our risk of developing it.  We’ll discuss dementia and culture, how we make our communities dementia friendly and more!
